Simon Wilson
Simon began flying fixed wing microlights when he was 14 and soloed on his 17th birthday. He has accumulated 1600 hours in 65 different types of aircraft, including fixed wing and weight shift microlights, light aircraft and helicopters over the past 11 years. He holds a JAR PPL(A) and is a qualified Royal Navy pilot.
He has been a BMAA check pilot and owns and flies one of the few flying Quickie Q2's in the UK.
He has been part of the development team for the DAR Solo, and will be responsible for its introduction into the UK as a SSDR (Single Seat De-Regulated) aircraft.
