In Technical University Sofia Aviation Department was made the load test of the new wing designed in DAR. These wings will be used on DAR Solo and Prio. With this wing DAR Solo will cover the requirements of FAR 103.
Aerosport 2009 Aerodrom Igualada-Odena (Barcelona) The biggest Spanish Air Show. DAR Solo was represented for a first time in Spain. On DAR close to the Solo were present and the new Hirth F-23 engine. This engine will be used on next generation airplane DAR Prio.
The "Meeting di Primavera" in Castiglione del Lago (Perugia) was the Italian presentation of the Solo.
02-05 April 2009 - The new DAR Solo was represented in AERO 2009 in Friedrichshafen. The Aircraft was displayed in Halle B-2 in Hirth flugmotoren stand.The visitors interest in new plane was very high. The represented model was powred by Hirth F-33 engine and after the fair was deliverd to the customer in Treviso (Italy).
15 MAR 2009 - the new specially developed for DAR Solo trailer is ready. Trailer is made under request by “AvioTech” ltd.
19 FEB 2009 - New engine installation – Hirth F-33. The Solo with Hirth F-33 engine is specially prepared for German market.
5 FEB 2009 - The new Solo cockpit.
30 JAN 2009 - the new engine monitoring bord computer
18 JAN 2009 – Start test on new two blade composite prop 1500mm for DAR Solo
12 JAN 2009 – Official meeting with Gobler-Hirthmotoren KG concerning using F-23 engine as standard for DAR Solo (advanced) and two seat DAR Prio.
F-23 is a two stroke, two cylinder, boxer engine with 50 HP.
30 DEC 2008 – Test pilot Assen Andonov have an incident during test flight, emergency landing.
12 DEC 2008 – First delivery of DAR Solo RU to Russian customer in Moscow.
