The new product of Aeroplanes DAR is the two seat, single engine ultralight airplane DAR Prio, designed to cover standard UL category. DAR Prio is based on proven DAR-23 All aluminum construction. The innovation introduced with DAR Solo was applied over DAR-23 practically create one brand new aircraft with extra low weight and better flight performance. Seats are one by one with full dual controls. The MTOW is only 400 kg.
In manufacturing of DAR Prio has been applied Sheet Management. Airplane is totally designed on CAD system and all parts are manufactures under CNC control. Alum sheet are cut on laser, all milling parts are made on CNC centers.This approach make the aircraft one excellent KIT project for anybody.
Wings: include - preformed spars, ribs, leading edges and skins (all parts are prepared on CNC machines) and composite winglets;
Tail surfaces: include - preformed spars, ribs and skins (all parts are prepared on CNC machines);
Fuselage: include - seats, belts, all controls, all factory welded parts, preformed on CNC machines main beam, cockpit canopy with doors and rear section formed on mold - composite, nose wheel gear with nose wheel, main landing gear, 8 inch "heavy duty" alum wheels and hydraulic disk brakes, polycarbonate windshield, wing struts, engine mounts, fuel tank and all hardware.
At the final assembly of DAR Prio there has a possibility to choose between 2 types of wings, 3 types of engines. This make the choice of airplane modification very large: The wings are with different controls. One is standard configuration - flaps and ailerons. The Second wing is under schema flaperon.
Engines are Hirth F-23 (50HP), RMZ 550 (55HP) and HKS 700E (60HP)
The propeller is composite two or three blades with diameter 1.5m
The instruments are minimal, for navigation are used Airspeed, Vertical Speed, Altitude and compass. The engine monitoring is made by specially developed for DAR unit.

Ready to Fly DAR-Prio standard airplane is equipped with Hirth F-23 (50HP) or HKS 700 engine, composite 2 blade propeller and standard navigation equipment.
